Or is this a valid bug report? Similarly, if I were to use a horizontal colorbar, I would see similar tick-labelling issues when expanding the bar across columns. There is no way to get proper tick labels for the vertical colorbar if it is made to extend beyond the height of the row to which it belongs (in this case, since I was using the colorbar from the (1,1) graph in the grid, I notice the error when the colorbar is made to extend into the 2nd row if I were to use the colorbar from the (2,1) graph, then I would see the issue when the colorbar extended into the first row and so on). As the colorbar grows to cover the bottom row as well, its tick labels start getting messed up. Now I try to extend the height of the colorbar so that it covers both rows in the grid. to > 2.0, so that it is pushed to the right extreme, for example). To achieve this, I try to hide all the colorbars but that of the very first graph in the grid and push the only visible colorbar to one extreme edge of the page (by setting "Horizontal" and "Vertical" positions of the widget to "Manual" and adjusting the coordinates, e.g. I also want to have one vertical colorbar shown for all four graphs since the images in each graph within the grid has the same style (same colormap, scaling, etc.). I am trying to plot a grid of 4 graphs (2 × 2), with datasets plotted as 'images'.
